Does being overweight in childhood alter what your body type COULD have been as an adult?
Post Body

I'm going to try and phrase this as best I can.

I was an overweight kid from about ages 7 to 15 (at 15 I started working out a lot, and watching what i ate, I slimmed down significantly) and my weight did fluctuate here and there through the years since, but I wouldn't say i ever got as big as i was when i was younger. I'm 27 now and would say I've been at a steady weight and size for a bit now. But I've always made an effort to maintain.

There are some aspects of my body that just will not change. I've never had a completely flat stomach or slender arms. And I wonder if that's due to me being overweight as a kid. Like if it altered my body type and if I had been a normal-weight kid would my body be different now in the way I store muscle/fat?
