I have flown on planes my entire life and have never had such a horrendous experience as I have had on this trip.

I am moving internationally and it has been an absolute nightmare. I missed my original flight due to a rude employee of the airline forcing me to exit the terminal, go talk to a supervisor to get the situation settled, and had to go all the way back through security with only 20 minutes before boarding. Because of this missed flight, I missed my connecting flight, got put onto another flight with a new connecting flight which ended up being cancelled due to weather. Because it was out of their control for the cancellation, I did not get a hotel voucher causing me to get a hotel myself as I did not want to stay overnight in the airport again. After, I finally arrived to my final destination, all of my luggage is missing as they never even bothered to move it from the airport the day prior. In total, my original 18 hour trip turned into over 50 hours, and now its still not over because I don't have any of my luggage.

I have been wearing the same set of clothes for three days, I am now terrified that the super expensive equipment in my luggage could be damaged due to the extended time they have been in the airlines hands, and now I have none of my medications as I ran out of the amount I pre-packed for the original trip.

Worst part is, I do not know if theres anything I can do to hold the airline accountable as airline companies never are for any of the bullshit they do. It feels like the system is completely rigged in their favor and the customer just has to eat their shit sandwiches. I, as a grown man, damn near started crying in the airport because I know theres probably nothing I can do but take the abuse from the airline as they gladly take my money.

Is there anything I can do? Do I have any options? Or should I just lube myself up and allowed to get fucked by the airline company?
