Why do people on Reddit assume things about you to attack you with?
Post Body
I've seen this a lot, not just on my posts/comments, but on other people's. It's like the most baseless things they pull up out of thin air. It's like they make up a whole backstory about you. It's weird. Usually it has nothing to do with the post. Why does this happen so often?
Things I've been falsely accused of:
Being a man/being sexist (I'm a woman)
Being straight/being homophobic (I'm bisexual)
Being racist (I'm not)
Being a supporter of a certain orange person (I'm not)
Being a communist (I'm not)
There's probably more that I can't think of right now.
