Why do you have to refer to the judge as your honor

Dont say it’s because “oh they have your life in their hand” I understand that and Im not saying it’s right be a dickhead in court, you should treat everyone with respect until treated other wise. But why dont we call people who have been to war your honor and fought for the country, the countless doctors and medical staff who save lives everyday we dont call your honor. Ig my question is why is your honor applied to only judges and not people who are doctors, good police, etc??
