Would the IRS actually try to tax somebody if this happened?
Post Body
One of my coworkers runs his own business on the side. He was shorthanded the other day so I was helping him out. Long story short, he paid me on Venmo but put the description as "hockey sticks" because he thought I'd get taxed or something if he put "work." Is this something that could actually happen?
