Why would an ambulance help me?
Post Body

I am one of many people. Yet if I called 999 complaining of life threatening emergency symptoms, an ambulance would come and help me. My question is...why?

They could just leave me to die. They could say "You are just one of many people, goodbye" but yet, they would come. And they do come for so many people every day.

Why do they bother? What is the point? Why do they want to save so many lives of people who are just normal common people?
