Should I be worried that shitposing gets in the way of the discussion of a topic that requires attention?
Post Body

One time I see some random videos that smell shitpost-y that are in the realm of language learning whilst browsing videos about it (one was making use of the devilish Duolingo meme, and the other is just some satire channel that can potentially make a novice confused).

The other I saw someone making a post complaining about how children has too much screentime nowadays... Before listing some dangerous shit they would "do" back in the day.

One video was literally a parody on an effort to curb smoking; instead they can do even more gross things (the joke is smoking sounds much better than these)

It's not that I'm being humorless and all, but for topic so sensitive as these, isn't there some notion of the detriment these could cause? Or am I just overreacting here?
