I asked a friend of mine if she thought men and women can be friends and she said it depends on the people. which is understandable I suppose. But then she said if you're attracted to that person you aren't friends. My immediate thought was 'there are very few people I can be friends with since I'm bi'.
I know that this is a really common opinion. Can someone explain why you think this way? I understand if you were in love with that person but they weren't interested. Being in that situation can suck and I get that. But if it's just garden variety attraction then I don't get it.
