Who do jobs in general especially places like retail require you to stand for an 8 hour shift in 2024.
The main reason Iâve heard is the âprofessionalismâ aspect where they assume people think theyâre âprofessionalâ or âworking hardâ if theyâre standing their whole shift even when theyâre no customers or theyâre arenât adding customers when in reality customers donât even care as long as your service is getting down in a good manner.
I just donât understand why your not allowed to sit when working with no customers or not assisting customers like the only retail I know that even allows a cashier to sit in chairs is like Aldi.
