Are there therapists on movie/tv sets that help the actors navigate upsetting scenes?
Post Body
I've been wondering this for a while now, but especially today as I rewatch Monster's Ball.
As per the title of this post, are there trained professionals on the sets of movies and tv shows that help with difficult scenes? Like when the actors have to say horrible racist things, as an example?
I know intimacy coordinators are a thing for sex scenes.
