Please explain like we're 5 if the tenant has paid in full so far or if they have overpaid. IMO it looks like they overpaid but I need a second opinion. (btw, this is not for me, I'm posting for someone else so don't attack me).

Rent is $1400. Every 2 weeks upon getting paid, an automatic transfer of $700 goes into the renter's account. The tenant thinks that because they had 3 payments come out in January and May (this will happen again in November), that they have overpaid.

Below is a list of dates that the payment came through on (up until today), and also the remaining dates for the year. When I add up every two weeks for the full year, it puts me at 26 payments. But 12 months x 2 payments each month = 24 payments. So it seems as if they will have overpaid.

1/2, 1/16, 1/29, 2/12, 2/26, 3/22, 4/5, 4/19, 5/3, 5/17, 5/31, 6/14, 6/28, 7/12, 7/26, 8/9, 8/23, 9/6, 9/20, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1, 11/15, 11/29, 12/13, 12/27

*There was one payment that did not go through on 3/8 and was never received.
