Why many TV shows nowadays take 2 or more years to release next season having just 8 or 10 episodes?
Post Body

Earlier there used to be lot of good shows with 20 episodes per season and they were releasing new season every year. And nowadays they are taking more years to release fewer number of episodes. This include the shows that doesn't even require heavy vfx use. So what changed in recent times?
