I notice that I get a lot of nasty comments accusing me of trolling and that I made low-effort posts. Although I've had some positive experiences with Reddit, I was wondering what the underlying issue is? Is it the fact I don't post high-quality content or is it the downfall of Reddit?
Honestly, the fluctuating nature of Reddit karma is like a whirlwind you never truly know where you stand until you check the aftermath. Even the most thought out, well-intended posts can either go viral or sink without a trace. It's a digital roller coaster. I've been around Reddit enough to know that sometimes, even a post that gets buried can spring back to life with just one timely comment. So while attention isn't guaranteed, persistence and engagement with the community without too much concern for validation .
