Do women really “get the house” more than men?
Post Body

In media and conversation, I feel the mention of “my wife got the house”, “my wife kicked me out”, or “my wife took the kids” is way more prevalent than “my husband made me sleep in the backyard” or “my husband locked me out”. Is this really the case at all? I can’t say either come up in conversation in the real world very often if at all but do women really get the house and kids more than men? Why would this be the case if so?
