Can I actually just sear a stake and cut off the cooked bit to try raw meat?
Post Body

Have a weird curiousity to try raw meat, but don't want to be dumb about it. Would it really be fine to buy a steak, get the pan super hot, and just do the quickest sear, and then cut off all the cooked bits to have a raw steak?

(plus I can enjoy the cooked bits like a snack)

Edit: STEAK. dumb typo in title 🤦
