Why is the word "folk" being used in reference to Black people?
Post Body
It's even in the news. You have white people but I keep finding the term black "folks". I could be absolutely of the mark but I thought that the words folk was made in reference to family or a familiar group. It feels.... lesser? Can anyone enlighten me on this issue?
