Does anyone own a motorcycle as their only form of transportation?
Post Body

Does anyone here own a motorcycle for their only form of transportation? What area do you live in? Is this decision financially based or did you just find you didn’t really need/use a car?

I’ve been a motorcycle enthusiast for years but I live in the Midwest US with snow and plenty of rain so unless I’m really brave with the cold, I really only get 5-6months of suitable riding weather. I’ve got saddlebags and have seen many bikes with enough storage for a small grocery trip, but I’ve never tried it. I may be retiring soon and am tempted to buy a place in the SW of the US and just leave a motorcycle there and fly back and forth snowbird style.
