Why are people more judgmental towards an older man/younger women age gap, then they are an older women/younger man age gap?

Recently my family brought to my attention how weird they felt about what I thought was an absolutely reasonable age gap with my partner. He’s 5.5 years older than me. However this family members son has a wife who is 7 years older then him. That’s quite hypocritical right?? Why are men seen as creepy for being with a legal women who’s a bit younger and a women isn’t seen as creepy for the exact same thing? Is their social norms I’m not seeing here 🤣? I always thought the more common thing was the man being older.
