During K-12 and even in college courses I’ve taken, I’ve always been terrible at math and science courses. Chemistry, geometry, calc, geology, astronomy, biology, algebra… you name it. I haven’t been able to understand these courses at all. I consider myself a good student and my grades in any other type of course show that. I’ve heard before that people are good at learning either math/science or reading/writing/history; I am very good with the latter. But I always thought that was a myth. Why is this a thing? Why can I not understand no matter how hard I try or what type of subject I try?
