I have been doing everything possible to keep my physical address concealed, as I have a former room mate whose associates have a history of attempted murder, and I have an ex boyfriend with a violent history who claimed he would ruin my life when I left him - I moved without telling him where - I really know how to pick ‘em, I know.

Anyway, my lease is in someone else’s name and my phone bill and all other bills go to another house. But if I get renter’s insurance, I’m afraid I will be listed in a public record database and someone I don’t want in my life will be able to find me.

Can anyone help me determine how I can go about getting renter’s insurance without leaving a trace of where I’ve moved in public records?
