Hawley Retainer left in the washer/dryer

So I accidentally left my retainer in my jacket when I went out for dinner. I washed it right away after coming home and even moved it to the dryer after the cycle. That’s when I realized my retainer was in my jacket!
I’ve been wearing them day and night and so it’s been fitting well on me before this incident. When I put it back on, it shrank and definitely hurts to wear it.
What do i do? Do i just get it re-adjusted? Or get a new one from my ortho?
