Any advice on declining invitations to bachelorette parties? I was recently invited to one of a high school friend that will take place out of state, so requires a plane ride, accommodation for multiple nights, food, alcohol, activitiesâŚanyone my age knows all this is somewhat standard at this point. I can technically afford it but itâs definitely not my favorite way to drop 500-1000 bucks. Furthermore I donât party at all and so itâs just not my scene. Whatâs a nicer way to say âI donât want to comeâ when you do care about preserving the friendship? The invite is sitting in my inbox and Iâm just avoiding addressing it the past few weeks :/:/
