Why do girls like running their fingers through their man’s beard?

Me and my girlfriend have been together for 5 months now I’ve been growing my beard out for 3 months and she is obsessed with my beard running her fingers through it and playing with it. I don’t mind that she does it, it actually feels nice but I was wondering why do girls do this? Is it attraction?
