Have animals that live in the city evolved to survive within that uban environment?

I saw a video of a cat licking a faucet and a person turns it on. Would this be an example of a learned behavior? Or does the cat see the faucet in the same way it would see a flowing river in a forest? Would the cat still be able to survive if removed from the “city” and put in a wild habitat?
