How do Pokémon reproduce?

I know, I know. But my partner and I were watching a Dorkly bit the other day about Gardevoir being weirded out that they’re so sexy. It sparked an odd debate about the reproductive habits of Pokémon. (I’m admittedly not super well versed on the universe so idk if it’s ever brought up, but now I’m curious.)
EDIT: I remember them laying eggs, but is there like… a fertilization process? 🤦🏼♀️ God this just keeps getting worse.
