Should I get a walking cane?
Post Body

Hey there! So I've started looking into whether or not I should get a walking cane. I am wondering because many a time when my fiancé has let me use his cane for a bit, I find it MUCH easier to walk. Now please bare in mind I do not have any joint problems etc, however I do have a problem with pacing. Not only, I found somewhere that I technically qualify for a cane in terms of managing a congenital birth defect. To get more insight on this, I have pulmonary Artery stenosis and when doing research into my particular heart condition it is 1. A birth defect and 2. The symptoms of my particular heart condition can cause chest pains, shortness of breath, fatigue and even risk of fainting when doing exercise. I've recently found that I am getting more and more out of breath when walking, even short distances and it is made worse when I am walking too quickly. So what do you all think? Cane or no cane?
