Good scary movie for younger nephews

I (36M) have 3 Nephews that are all brothers - two 11 year old twins and one 8 year old. They want to have a sleepover and watch a "scary" movie. I want to play this right and keep up my reputation as the cool uncle without traumatizing them. I'm hesitant to show them a movie like the first Hocus Pocus (Two was a POS) as they might think its lame and not scary enough. However, I don't want to watch The Exorcist and have them calling their mom to come pick them up.

What are some good scary movies for this age group that will be genuinely scary but also not be a dud?
