I have an older LG home theater speaker system how do I change remotes

So I have a older home theater speaker system my remote just died I believe it's the led light but I do have a spare universal remote how do I change the speaker over to this remote all the info I'm working with is below if u have questions please guide me and Thank u in advance
I believe the system is alg ht554th-A2 On the og remote it has AKB72910401 then on the system above volume it says DVD reciver HT904PA
Then the universal remote is ge
