Can somebody pose as my guardian in a bar?

I’m 20 and attend a chess club that goes to local bars and pubs to play chess. Sometimes they choose bars that are 21 unless I have a parent/guardian. Could one of them be my guardian or does it have to be official with proof? They know I have no intention of drinking and wouldn’t even let me if I tried.
