Can video games even look much better?
Post Body

I saw an old news report from when the N64 was new and thought, "Wow that really was peak technology back then and looked amazing." And in about 30 years we now have games that look like they're nearly acted in live-action.

I know that back then, people couldn't imagine it getting better and it did, but I seriously can't imagine it getting improved on much more than today's capabilities.

Is VR the only step towards better, more realistic gaming? I feel as if on-screen gaming has reached its peak.
