Is there an official brand for green plastic soldiers?

Is there an official brand for the green/tan soldiers that appear on Army Men and on Toy Story? I tried looking but all the brands I see are fake ones from china that are like "MYYOJK kid toy war dude green combat plastic toy", which I wouldn't mind, but I want to know if there's an original brand or the one that made the toys famous.
