Narrating in Facebook/Twitter lingo
Post Body

Am I the only one that gets annoyed by this? I've bumped into a couple stories now (not going to post about which ones specifically as that is disrespectful to the artists) that use internet lingo like: "fr bruh, I was scared lol" or "I was like we gotta go fam" or even "bruh like wtf, creepy af".

Can we just not do this? I dont ask that artist's writing have perfect punctuation and grammar, or that all the writing always be the most creative or well put together. I get perhaps you're trying to convey that the narrator is a younger person of probably today's time. If you're quoting something on the internet, or something you (as the narrator) or a friend posted, that's totally cool, but please dont actually narrate as someone who talks like real life is Twitter.

Like, fr bruh.
