Getting Back Into Writing After Almost 10 Years, Any Advice?

I used to write a lot when I was younger, 12-14, but somewhere along the line I just stopped. I actually had some pretty interesting ideas in my stories. I am interested in getting back into it but don't know where to start. I've always been creative and had an innate love for all things horror, but when I try to sit and think up ideas to write I can't. I just get stuck on movies and books I've seen and read, and obviously I'm not trying to steal anyone's ideas. I really love the exorcism shtick, and would like to write a fresh take on it, but still, having a hard time not pulling from other sources.
