Curly Hair chair for beginners
Post Body

Hello I am a 24 year old with short on the sides longer on top Waivy-curly hair that hands over to one side, I often have trouble controlling. I have went through 30 products shampoos conditioners, leave in conditioners, etc … through last year until I finally found one I like. One that helps really pull out my curls rather than it just be frizzy. The not your mother curl talk curl line of shampoo, conditioner and curly mousse, the mousse is probably most important part as it helps keep my hair in a certain shape and helps not only form the curls but keep them in place rather than going all over.

Also every morning since my hair is on the border between wavy and curly i wake up with messy hair from turning in my sleep and need to get it wet and fix it. I take 2 showers a day one at night to clean hair and body one in morning simple to get hair wet enough to shape and get all frizz out.

Over past few months I have become interested in going no poo, I heard when the natural oils of your hair get in balance it will optimize my curls. My questions are what does one do about other hair products do you simply stop using all products? How do you control hair ? I know that takes a while for oil production to properly balance out but every time I tried going a week with no product at all my hair just got to messy.

Like is the mousse bad for my hair? Is it something I need to wash out if I am reapplying every day? Does using mousse prevent me from going no pop, like is it something that will need a cleaning agent to get out ? Is there alternatives that could be washed out with simply water that will pull out my curls and give them some volume and a light hold ? Would about conditioner or defining cream?

Honestly there is so many steps to hair care and shampoo is such a small part of it, and such a big part of it I don’t know what to do about the rest
