Does anyone know how to find a ship that can’t fly? I followed a map to a sweet ship that was in disrepair, and it was my first “new” ship so I claimed it.

Turned out, I didn’t have the materials to fix it so I left in my working ship, acquired materials, then realized I didn’t have a way to navigate back to it bc the marker on my compass was gone. As the map in my inventory was consumed I can’t figure out a way to get back to the ship - and I can’t summon it bc it can’t fly. Is there a way to find my ship again rather than keeping it in my “inventory” even though I’ll likely never see it again?
