I get into the game a bit get to pick normal settings and a new save slot. Then right after that I get a black screen and a not responding NMS.

I have already :

Verified the integrity of the game file on steam

Deleted and reinstalled NMS

Edited the video settings manually for NMS in the graphics settings to windowed.

Changed the graphics settings in NMS manually in the settings file to a lower resolution.

Made sure my opengl is the correct version

Deleted shaders

Updated all my video drivers

Deleted my video drivers then updated then reinstalled them

Updated deleted and reinstalled every version of C ever created

Ran antivirus and checked windows defender settings.

Manually started the game with admin control from outside steam.

I'm kind of at a loss for what to try next. Frankly I'm pretty frustrated and disappointed with every experience I've had with this game. I played the game once in 2016 set it aside and tried to come back and give it a second chance and it won't even run now.

I wish I could just exchange this for the Xbox version.
