Hello! I’m decently new to this game (just started playing 2-3 weeks ago) and at this point I’m trying to get an S freighter before I started really building my ship base. I wanted to see if anyone had any tips to help because I know that the update greatly changed how long it can take to get a S class spawn. I’ve found the one I want and have been reloading the restore point and re-saving the fleet but have just been unlucky so far after about 2-3 hours so just checking that no one’s found a way around having to fight them again yet i guess lol.

Also would love any weapons advice too since I don’t think I know as much as I should about those. I found that with my current set up the fastest way to destroy to weapons are by using the rocket launcher and “shotgun” one at very close range.

I have an A class sentinel ship if that changes any answers. Also have a living ship bc a kind man named “Keith” gave me a void egg in the anomaly. Its damage is a little lower (~20 lower) but has higher Shields (~40 higher) if that changes anything but shield has not really been an issue.
