Was crossplay always this bad? Crashing like crazy even before the update

I’m on ps5 and i started playing with two friends who are on pc about a week ago and it was fine for a day or two but now i can’t go 5 minutes without crashing, I’ve never played this game crossplay before this and it’s infuriating.
