Post Body

I want to plant native wildflowers this year. I love native plants, but i’ve never done this before. there’s a full sun part of the yard i want to pull up and seed, but i don’t know when to do it. can anyone give me some resources? do i have to completely tear up the existing greenery(it’s mostly weeds), or just clear it out enough for some exposed soil?

edit: i’m in Charlotte, zone 7a.
