I gathered some thoughts and created this thing I'd like to share with you all. Feel free to comment on it:
As I see it, addiction doesn't come from the object of the adiction (here PMO) itself. It is the symptom that something deeper is not going well in your life. And is this what can be very different from person to person. But what is gonna get you out is the process of reviewing your life habits, your life goals and your overal situation (do you feel connected to people, accepted, fulfilled, powerful, happy...?) In most cases, Nofap is the start of a journey to get your hands on your life (instead of somewhere else 😂) and start observing what doesn't work for you anymore and find new ways and new behaviors. Meditation, exercise, new relationships, new goals, new hobbies... all this is gonna give you the sparkle of life, the joy to go through each day even when some days are tough and hard work. They will make sense. And thus, when the empty is filled with personal power, joy, healthy relationships... there is no need for the replacement, the adiction. It was helping you while no other help was available. It came unnoticed when the problem was unnoticed. Now, nofap is a journey of noticing, of awareness, of change and transformation. And it's your own personal journey. Enjoy and be strong, bro!
