All of you who are struggling can you please go through and answer the 6 things I layed out. I just want to know some of your goals and how you deal with relapses.
Post Body

Trying harder usually ends up down a path of frustration and complete failure of your goal.

  1. Have a clear and precise goal but make it achievable.
  2. Stay motivated to complete said goal.
  3. Create good habits that helps you reach your goal.
  4. If you stumble analyze why and how it effected reaching your goal.
  5. Even if you stray from your goal don't be hard on yourself and go back to 1. And start again. You are at least trying to improve yourself and taking responsibility of your life choices.
  6. If you make your goal reward yourself.

1, My goal is to go a week without wanking. I'm just starting so I set something achievable. My first goal was to make through the weekend. My 2nd goal was to make it till Friday.

2, My motivation is to love my girlfriend (celeberating celibacy). So when I fap I'm breaking my vow to her and showing her hate.

3, There's so many good habits I created to help. Stopped drinking, allowing my self to get erections, (erections aren't the enemy it's your brain), calling my girlfriend and talking over issues, avoiding situations that lead to breaking my goal.

4, Last time I stumbled I was frustrated at my boss which lead to poor descions all around. Instead of calling my girlfriend I decided to fap. Which then I had to immediately call her and tell her what happened. Yeah I should of called her before. Would of been a lot easier conversation.

5, That was on a Monday so I shifted my goal from 7 days to 6 days. If I make it the rest of week I will meet my new goal.

6, Reward. If I meet my goal of 7 days I treat myself with rootbeer float at Super 1 for $1, I have a beer or a slurpee. All are super rewarding because I eat fruit as dessert and don't eat very many carbs.

Hope this helps.
