How do I recover faster after a relapse?

35M here and I noticed as I get older I feel worse for longer after relapse. I feel sluggish, tired, more emotional, less confident, guilty etc. for a few days after I relapse. Do you have any tips to get over this quicker? Any vitamins, exercises, things I can do?
(I know one suggestion is don't orgasm, but I am also wondering what to do if I have sex with my partner?)
In my 20s I was able to PMO without as much noticable effects, but now that I'm older it is frustrating.
