I recently found out from a Consumer Cellular rep that they're breaking their partnership with TMO and will only license ATT network for customers except for international travel then they ask you to switch to their TMO sim. Why is CC going to keep TMO's international agreement but not domestic? My Grandmother is on CC TMO side as she lives in Tennessee and ATT is horrible in her area, if I switch her to US Mobile with me it may make her bill a little higher than it is now and she'd rather stay on CC though. They've given no timeframe for this but stopped selling the TMO sim at their Target partner locations. Any advice?
TL;DR is Consumer Cellular dumping TMO? Or not really?
