Is the best carrier for rural coverage still just Verizon?
Post Body

So I live in a pretty urban area, but I work a profession that often sends me out into the boonies of the western US. I've always just thoughtlessly had Verizon because that's just what you get if you want to have the best chance of getting service out there.

But are there better options? I'm kind of ignorant of how the different carriers use each of the networks.
