I just became aware that Verizon bought out total wireless :(.
I’ve seen it said our plans are grandfathered in for about 2 years, but I have no way of confirming. Is that true?
For the last few years I’ve grown accustomed to paying a bit over $100 for a shared 100 GB data between 4 lines (including unlimited talk and text obviously). …….Does anyone know of a similar deal by a different carrier/company?
So to sum it up:
-are plans grandfathered in? For how long?
-if not, does anyone know of a similar deal?
……………….……………….……………….……………….
Edit**:…. Every representative has told me that
1: total wireless plans are grandfathered in indefinitely
2: I can drop a line/phone number and add another one without any issues or change to my plan or pricing (a family member wants to leave and keep their phone number, otherwise I wouldn’t be asking about this point).
I’d like to believe them but can’t help but be skeptical. Has anyone else heard differently or had some other experience?
