Got myself another pair of twins. My first pair took three days to finish, and I want to see if I can make this pair last even longer! It's a huge challenge because I really love nitrous and I could honestly just sit down with one of these tanks for a few hours and blast off. But that's not safe or sustainable, physically OR financially.
Some things that help me use slower are taking every hit with a lot of gratitude. Instead of chasing the next one, I think to myself 'That was a good hit.' When I finished my last pair, instead of immediately thinking ahead to my next pair of tanks, I took the time to be grateful for the nice time I had with those spent tanks. For the three days I was using them, they were my friends!! So I like to give them a small 'thank you' hug when they're finally spent. (Yes, I am a lonely person. How'd you know?)
When I use like this, it feels like surfing. Just cruising along at the perfect altitude. I'm sad when it's over, but I'm not devastated because I'm glad it happened.
