So I recently bought a 2010 Nissan Titan SE crew cab 2wd with 109k miles, and I live in Southwest Florida on the gulf coast where its VERY warm.
Truck came from a Ford dealership, who had told me an older gentleman traded it in on a brand new Ford Ranger, and that he had JUST had a brand new transmission put in the Titan shortly before the trade-in, which seemed odd but okay.
Anytime im sitting in traffic, or going under 45-50mph, it overheats on the trans temp gauge pretty quick, It will come down again if I speed up and really get moving or once I get somewhere and put it in park for several minutes, and this is a rather annoying issue to have for an otherwise flawless truck, so my question to you all as someone who's new to titans is this:
Is this a common issue on titans?
What could be causing overheat issues?
And How do I solve it?
Any help would be much appreciated Y'all, thanks!
