As the title suggests, I've got some issues. (93,000mi) P0448- Emissions evap vent control system short P0087- fuel rail low pressure

First off, whenever I begin fueling, I've gotta BABY the pump. If I go too fast, basically any faster than the absolute slowest the pump will pump, the pump will backfire, and fuel will burp out of the filler neck. After about a minute or so, I can VERY gradually increase the pump speed and finish fueling.

If I fill it all the way (I stop after the first click) the CEL nearly always illuminates. I normally just put about $40 in it.

This condition has gotten worse. Aside from the Titan whistle that most of us are familiar with, this problem has gotten progressively worse.

Lately, the CEL stays on, but sometimes will go off for a day or two, but comes back. Sometimes there's the secondary P0087, low fuel rail pressure, which I suspect is a result of an improperly venting tank. The 0087 code is always with the 448 code.

Records show that when the truck had about 8k miles, the canister was replaced. The canister that's in it currently looks similar to the part number shown for my truck, but not exact. In fact, it's identical to the one used in Altima, Maxima's, etc

The dealership wants to charge me $175 for diagnostic before they determine if the warranty will cover it. These guys won't answer the question - "if it is the EVAP canister clogged, WILL Nissan replace it?".

The screwed up part, there's the NEVAP warrant extension (15y/150,000mi) for this EXACT problem. Doesn't cover '18 .

Thoughts?

UPDATE ------ Dealer replaced the low pressure fuel pump under warranty. The EVAP canister probably still needs to be replaced, as I'll get a p0448 code whenever I fill it all the way up. It'll go back off after a few days.
