I just purchased a 2013 Altima S with 117k miles and now I’m worried about the CVT going out.
Post Body

A couple things actually,

  1. Is there anything I can do to make sure I keep mine as healthy as possible? Like be gentle at the light and come to a full stop before shifting to reverse/drive.

2.I saw that in most cases they were going out before the 85k mark, mines at 117k so is it safe to assume that if it hasn’t gone out by now then I might be safe? Assuming that I treat it right and do proper maintenance.

Any advice would be appreciated.
