Just like the title says, recently bought a 2013 Altima "as is" from the dealership and I ran a code checker on it and got the Cylinder 1 misfire and fuel too lean. The symptoms are as follows: takes 5 seconds from the moment I shift the car to drive/reverse for it to switch to that gear. I've also noticed a severe decrease in gas mileage. Once the car gets to first gear, it easily goes to 2nd and up. If I stop at a light or sign, it works fine, but if I put it in park for even a moment, it struggles again to go back into drive.
I changed the spark plug (with proper .44 gapping) on cylinder 1 and am considering changing the coil (I think that's what the long black tubes that go over the spark plugs are called) for cylinder 1. My last resort is to change the fuel pump and fuel filter but that would require me to go under the car which is always a greeeeeat time.
I really hope it's not the fuel pump, haha.
Anyway, any suggestions would be great, I am getting a professional evaluation from a local shop to better know what I'm working with later today.
